ElectroThis has been one of the busiest weeks in a while here on Splash Page, with quite a few stories spiking into the highest reaches of the MTV.com InterWebs. Here's how the Top 10 panned out:

10. Apparently, Michael Cera still dreams about the "Scott Pilgrim" set. Guess what Edgar Wright said to stir up those traumatic memories...

9. Last week it was Captain America casting, this week's it's "Spider-Man 4" villains. The weekly poll is on fire! Read more...

Cla$$war"Cla$$war," the celebrated miniseries that follows a government-created super-soldier as he discovers the terrible truth about the program that created him, has been optioned by "Surrogates" production company Mandeville Films.

Written by Rob Williams with art by Trevor Hairsine and Travel Foreman, "Cla$$war" was published from 2002-2004 by Com.x. The series featured a scientifically engineered, government-sponsored superhero called The American as he comes to terms with the political implications of his existence and is forced to battle the rest of his super-powered team.

According to Com.x, which will announce more details about the deal during a panel at 7 PM EST (4 PM PST) today at Long Beach Comic Con, Rick Alexander of Alexander Content will co-produce the "Cla$$war" movie with Mandeville’s David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman. Com.x and Mandeville have promised an announcement regarding the film's screenwriter in the near future. Read more...

Ryan ReynoldsRyan Reynolds may be tackling the roles of two of comics' toughest characters, but that doesn't mean he's immune from the power of Hollywood secrecy. Appearing as a guest on last evening's "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon," the actor seemed stoked about portraying both Green Lantern and Deadpool – even if he had to keep his reasons to himself for the most part.

Though Reynolds insisted that he had to stay quiet on the details of the upcoming "Green Lantern" adaptation, he did reveal one important bit of information – a rough timetable for filming. Read more...

Ghost RiderLast week, we brought you the news that "Ghost Rider 2" was closer to becoming a reality, and Columbia Pictures had begun discussion with "Batman Begins" and "Super Max" screenwriter David Goyer to work on the story for the sequel.

Collider has more details about the follow-up to 2007's "Ghost Rider," courtesy of an interview with Goyer. According to the writer, the script for "Ghost Rider 2" is based on a nine-year-old script he wrote for an R-rated "Ghost Rider" movie.

"Sony and the producers decided that they wanted to make that the sequel script," said Goyer. "So in this case, I'm coming on as producer and we're basically just doing a polish of my nine-year-old script." Read more...

The Dark Knight - Motorcycle SuitAdmit it, people—you want to be Batman. Heck, we all want to be Batman, because we can be... if we had billions of dollars, ninja training and a major traumatic incident that gave us a single-minded obsession with fighting crime, that is.

As a consolation prize to us normal folks who can't quite become the super-normal Caped Crusader, Universal Designs Replicas is offering the next best thing: a Batman motorcycle suit based on the costume design from "The Dark Knight."

According to UD Replicas, the motorcycle outfit "comprises a full-leather jacket that includes lightweight interior lining, as well as molded-leather and Kevlar armor sections; pants that include heavy-duty, four-way stretch Spandex inserts and CE-approved armor; authentic gloves and boots that replicate the amazing on-screen design." The Walking DeadThe much-awaited "Zombieland" hits theaters today, and while there isn't a direct connection to comics, we're no less excited to see the flick. The Woody Harrelson-starring zombie comedy has received plenty of praise from critics and theatergoers alike, and as a fan of the horror genre, I personally cannot wait to catch this movie.

In honor of the "Zombieland" premiere, I've run down five comic books filled with flesh-hungry goodness that you'd be wise to check out—certainly if you ever hope on surviving the impending zombie apocalypse. Read more...

Lady GagaOkay, confession time: I had to look up Marc Jacobs on Wikipedia before I began writing this post. But if you've ever seen the way I dress, my lack of awareness regarding one of the world's most well-known fashion designers should come as no surprise.

One person I am aware of, however, is Lady Gaga. Heck, it's hard not to be aware of a musician whose taste in costumes rivals the wildest comic book characters ever created. And apparently, she's now the focus of a comic book available in Marc Jacobs stores.

According to Fashionista, artist Brian Einersen created the Lady GaGa comic as an exclusive offering at Marc Jacobs locations. "The cover name-drops St. John, Christian Dior, and Yves Saint Laurent so we know it’s worth the read," reports the site. "Not only is the comic fashionable and funny, but it retails for only two dollars making it a guilt-free purchase." Read more...

Green HornetEarlier today we got our first semi-blurry glimpse of Seth Rogen in costume as Green Hornet, but we just received a new image that offers a much better look at the actor suited up to fight crime.

Written by Rogen and directed by Michel Gondry ("Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind"), "The Green Hornet" features the "Knocked Up" actor as masked crimefighter Britt Reid, who takes on the criminal element with the assistance of Kato, his partner (played by Jay Chou).

Today's video and photo are some of the first shots we've seen of Rogen and Chou in costume (rather than their stunt doubles), and from what we can tell, Rogen certainly looks to be getting into character as the pulp hero. Read more...

When Kevin Smith dropped by Splash Page HQ recently to chat about his new book, "Shootin' The Sh*t With Kevin Smith: The Best Of The SModcast" (on shelves now), our conversation covered a pretty impressive number of topics. Along with telling us some of the things he's learned not to talk about on the air (and in the book), he told us about the new character he invented for his DC series "Batman: The Widening Gyre."

Heck, we even talked about one of the biggest stories of the year thus far: The Walt Disney Company buying Marvel Entertainment. Check it out:

"I saw a lot of cats who were like, 'Oh, this is the end, they're raping my childhood again,'" said Smith of the online uproar when the deal went public. Read more...

Way back in April, we got our first glimpse at concept art from "The Phantom," SyFy's television miniseries based on the classic purple-suited hero created by Lee Falk. Now, the first trailer for the project has popped up on the 'Webs, giving us a better idea of the series' premise and a look at how that concept art was translated into an actual costume.

Originally posted on YouTube, the "Phantom" trailer features a significantly younger take on the masked crimefighter, and even offers a nod to the different look he'll be sporting in the series.

"The Phantom" debuts in 2010 on SyFy.
