Dr Diane Harper of Missouri-Kansas Uni. was extensively quoted in the Daily Mail story about Natalie Morton that claims that the HPV progamme is a "mass experiment in public health".

We contacted Dr Harper to clarify some of the Daily Mail story. She has given us permission to quote her.

"I remain a vaccine supporter; and am grateful that GSK and merck have developed the vaccines.

Dr Harper says that she was not aware that the autopsy results were imminently pending. She comments: "The autopsy report clearly indicates that Cervarix had no part in Natalie's death."

Evidence Matters is grateful to Dr Harper for her clarifications and assistance and joins her in deploring the element of sensationalism in the original report.
