2008 placing: 5 |
In 2009:
After finishing 5 th at the 2008 AHL, the Southern Suns are hoping to go one better this year and make the AHL Finals. Having recruited a number of players from the U21 Women's team these athletes will be looking to step up and gain more experience from this tournament. Players from last year's AHL learnt a lot from that campaign, and although this year is a fairly young squad, they are highly motivated and driven to succeed. With the experience of Melody Rowe and Anna Young returning to the the side, the Southern Suns will be striving for a successful tournament.
