I have noticed from time to time people blogging and complaining that Adam screams and screeches. SERIUOSLY PEOPLE, you may have a real inner ear problem and if I were you, I would see an ear doctor very soon.

For American Idol judges, I got kind of tired of the “gushing” – and would hit “mute”. I wanted to “see” what I thought of Adam’s work, as a Reviewer. What stood out to me from at least mid-way of Top 10, was that it was starting to feel like the Adam Lambert Show and everyone else was “just visiting”. Later I heard that one of the judges had said something similar. Since the show ended, Adam’s greatest hits records gets played daily here, Kris’ once in awhile (and I like Kris and would buy his record) and my version of season greatest hits, from the top 13, I play more than Kris’ record, but substantially less than Adam’s record. Adam just “has something”. Adam’s music “works” – video or just audio. Kris’s record – I was surprised to find that his music, to me, needed the anchoring of watching him perform live. The audio mixes weren’t done well. As a side note here, media coverage for Adam is running about 4-5 stories to 1 for Kris. Frequently the Kris stories when reviewed, are about Adam, or someone else, not Kris. Adam’s many articles are usually (seemingly) plagerised regurgitations of the mainstream media’s articles or a tv show interview – but at least it is usually positive coverage! Adam’s record when it comes out, as a media reviewer for arts and entertainment — I think his record will do well, IF the song writing is strong lyrics and score. I’m glad to see he isn’t just doing a remake of past glam-rock numbers. When I heard a judge had recommended this, I was surprised. Maybe “later” – but for a first album?! Adam needs to get his “brand” out, claim his consistent stake in the Top 100 of Platinum Land. As for Queen, love the band – but Queen needs Adam more than Adam needs Queen right now. (Sad point, Queen band members are aging and new talented up-and-comings are replacing them and others, such as KISS, on stage. So unless you are an aging Boomer or Gen Xer, most Echos aren’t going to be attending the 1980s or older band revival tours).Go, Adam – your Aquarius “star” is shining bright!

I don’t know what is going on with that other unauthorized release, but whether or not you can get an injunction, just remember, it’s all part of your history. We know who you are now and you amazing talent. Everyone evolves. It’s too bad that people want to make money off of your evolution. All of the money-making entities see how you sell—but no worries–we love and adore you and will await all of your albums with love and pride and watch you grow with time. Just stay centered dear Adam. Stay focused and do your thing; do it authentically, with your heart. Good things will come. Fame and fortune…well, don’t get all caught up in that. Remember that longetivity is what you are looking for and very few in your generation have that. Slow and steady, baby. Let’s hear your voice, not the hype around it.
