Applications
The Democracy and Governance program welcomes applications from international students. Applications should be completed online prior to the application deadline. Please return to the Admissions homepage for information about the application deadline and required materials.
TOEFL and GRE
The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is required of any applicant whose native language is not English. As a non-native speaker you are exempt if you earned a degree from an institution at which English is the primary language of instruction. The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is required of all applicants.
Office of International Programs
The Georgetown University Office of International Programs is the central source of information for international students regarding visa requirements, working in the U.S., housing, travel, and related matters.
