Russia's Gazprom and Ukraine's Naftogaz on Tuesday signed supplements to the contract of January 19, 2009 on the purchase and sale of natural gas, Gazprom's press service has reported.
According to the supplements, the annual contracted amount of gas to be supplied to Ukraine in 2010 has been set at 33.75 billion cubic meters (bcm), instead of the 52 bcm contracted earlier.
The documents signed by the sides also stipulate that there will be no fines related to the amount of gas consumed by Naftogaz in 2009.
