Operation Pinecone, a local organization consisting entirely of volunteers, will be assembling gift and care packages for military service members stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan on Saturday, Dec. 12 from 9 a.m. to 11a.m.
Seventy bands composed of members as young as 8 years of age and as old as 18 will perform in the B2R Battle of the Bands at the 9:30 Club in Washington D.C. later this month.
