A memorial service in the village of Kravica, near Bratunac, in eastern Bosnia, today marked the 17th anniversary of the 1993 massacre of 49 Serb villagers. The Bosnian Muslim forces from Srebrenica, led by Naser Orić, attacked the village in January 1993, to kill the villagers and burn their homes.

Serbia's president reaches out to Croatia AP, January 05, 2010
President Boris Tadic of Serbia said Tuesday he is "deeply convinced that there is still room for an agreement." Tadic spoke a day after Serbia filed its lawsuit against Croatia at the Netherlands-based court in response to a similar one that Croatia filed against Serbia years ago.
