Mission control of ULTra (to-be monitor assembly visible on the wall)
Visitors & video presentation
The seating was comfortable.
Small videocams on both sides of the vehicle (roof).
ATS survey vehicle (so it says...)
The new T5 in the distance. The business parking area where ULTras start from is the nearest out-of-airport parking area. There are some also within the airport boundaries, of course.
Bus, plane and PRT tracks (with fences)
Chris from ATS checking through that the vehicle is feeling okay.
Station still partly a mock-up. I would skip the middle part and only use the lower display.
The best pic, I would say. ULTra descending to the station.
Wizzzzzzzzz (actually, no sound. at all).
ULTra leaving the station
Station provides some weather protection but also helps keep the vehicles cooler in sunny days. Yes, they do have air conditioning.
See my initial comments on the track at Openduck.blogspot.com. It's not a beauty. The concrete basement of pillars is partly for crash safety; taking energy in case a truck would hit one. They should be painted with beautiful colors, imho.
Hi. I'm your ULTra. :)
Seeing the track from bus when approaching T5.
Driving alongside the airport area (track + other fences).
The place where it switches sides of the road.
Traditional London city transport (near Paddington St.)
View from my hotel room. How will it change in 50 years?
