Bosphorus Bridge to be located in Canakkale

SABAH reveals the route determined for the new suspension bridge: Saricay to Kilitbahir.

The Canakkale Bridge project will be put up for tender along with the Tekirdag-Canakkale-Balikesir Highway. The bridge will start from the Anatolian side in Saricay and will span to the European side in Kilitbahir. The distance above the sea will span 1,400 meters. There are two alternatives for the project: 1- A railroad and highway. 2- A sole highway.
