2007: Lince made his debut as an unknown at the 2007 King of Trios tournament and immediately made an impact, teaming with mentor El Pantera and fellow luchador Sicodelico, Jr. in a march towards the semi-finals, where they fell to eventual winners Jigsaw, Mike Quackenbush & Shane Storm. Lince immediately struck off with the fans due to his high-flying, daredevil style, making him a natural fit for the inaugral Rey de Voladores tournament, bringing together some of the best high-fliers on the independent circuit. However, despite advancing to the finals (following an upset win over Jigsaw), Lince once again failed at the final hurdle, as Chuck Taylor pinned him to win the tournament in a match that saw Lince execute a springboard somersault plancha into the crowd. At the 2007 Aniversario events Lince began his feud with the returning “Marvelous” Mitch Ryder, based around the patriotic Ryder’s dislike of “the illegal immigrant Mexicans” which he claimed Dorado to be a part of. That feud ended when Dorado defeated Ryder at the end of the year in a mask vs. hair match, shaving Ryder bald, but severely injuring himself in the process of putting Ryder away with a shooting star senton in one of CHIKARA’s more distressing occurences. It was later revealed that he had suffered a severe concussion. During the course of the Ryder feud, Lince also pulled off a huge singles victory over Chris Hero, beating him cleanly with the CHIKARA Special. Lince returned to CHIKARA in December by distracting Mitch Ryder, allowing Tim Donst to score an upset victory in a singles contest.

2008: Dorado would return to the ring in January 2008, teaming with Claudio Castagnoli and Ophidian to defeat Mike Quackenbush, Tim Donst and Amasis in a Trios Increibles match. Clearly attempting to regain his confidence following the near-tragedy in Philadelphia, Lince did less of his flip-centric, daredevil stunts, but entered a solid showing that confirmed that Lince may have been down in November, but he was certainly not out. Then, one year on from his CHIKARA debut, Lince returned to the King of Trios tournament, this time alongside Pantera (once again) and another luchador, Incognito. The trio would go all the way, winning the tournament by defeated the BLK-OUT trio of Eddie Kingston, Ruckus and Joker, overcoming tournament favourites The Colony along the way (with a helping hand from Vin Gerard). The final match saw Dorado make Kingston tap out to the CHIKARA Special, and Kingston was not seen for a couple of months afterwards. When King returned he immediately went after Dorado, defeating him several times but always failing to keep Lince down. This causing Kingston to fall even further into the depths of insanity. Aside from that, Lince also formed a successful team with former enemy Jimmy Olsen, united in their hatred of the UnStable, who formed in September by beating down both Olsen and Dorado. This team was put under extreme pressure in October when they ended up on opposite sides of the Torneo Cibernetico, but the friendship survived.

2009: The year 2009 began with the formal announcement of Lince, Jimmy and Helios as a full-time unit in CHIKARA, dubbed The Future Is Now. Together they pulled off one of the bigger upsets of the King of Trios tournament by eliminating Kota Ibushi’s DDT team from the tournament in the very first round. The advanced all the way to the semi-finals before falling to eventual winners F.I.S.T.
