    A New Strategy in Afghanistan

    U.S. Senator Mark Udall questioned top military and diplomatic officials about President Obamas new strategy for Afghanistan. The hearing was the first public opportunity for lawmakers to ask detailed questions of the Administration following President Obamas announcement that he will add 30,000 new troops in Afghanistan in preparation for a transition to Afghan authority and military withdrawal from the country beginning in July 2011.
