Pridemore to host town hall meeting with Moeller and Jacks 1/7/2010
OLYMPIA - Sen. Craig Pridemore and Reps. Jim Moeller and Jim Jacks invite residents of the 49th Legislative District to attend a Town Hall Meeting on Saturday, Jan. 9, in the 6th floor commissioners hearing room of the Clark County Public Service Center at 1300 Franklin St.

Please join Rep. Jim Moeller, Rep. Jim Jacks, and myself for our post-session town hall meeting on Saturday, May 16. We’d like to hear your concerns and field your questions on the legislative session and other issues.
The meeting is scheduled for 3:00-5:00 p.m. in the Clark County Commissioners Hearing Room in the County’s Public Service Center at 1300 Franklin St. in Vancouver.
Senate pages learn a lot - and so do we 4/6/2009
It’s always fun to see our local students come to the Legislature for a week to work as Senate pages. It’s a great way for them to learn how our government works and how our laws are made – and the best part is sometimes we learn at least as much from them. In this case, Birgitta Geisler, 16, of Vancouver gave me some lessons in how to appear thoughtful and wise. I’m pretty sure I nailed the thoughtful part, even if the wise part isn’t quite there yet . But I’m working on it.
