Digicel Group to donate $5m to Haiti relief effort

Denis O'Brien's Carribean-based communications company Digicel Group is donating US$5m (€3.4m) to support relief efforts in Haiti.
It is also sending a team of people to the devastated region today to assess the damage done to communications infrastructure.
The money is being distributed through the NGO's leading the relief efforts.
