While there are many volunteers and police officers who assist with the Louisville Police Athletic League each year, there are 2 Louisville Metro Police Officers assigned to the PAL Program. These officers are: |
Officer Charles Jones was born and raised in Scooba, Mississippi. He came to Louisville
on a Basketball Scholarship in 1981. After 4 seasons and 2 Final Four appearances with the University of

Officer Chris Bowman was
born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. After graduating from
DuPont Manual High School, he continued his education at the
University of Louisville where he earned a Bachelor of Science
Degree in Justice Administration. He played competitive golf and
racquetball in school and is a successful bowler, winning several
tournaments and leagues. Chris is married to Melissa and has one daughter. | |
