fireGrove City, Pennsylvania, Mar 7, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Wendell August forge was almost completely charred in a fire that broke out in the historic location of Grove City in Pennsylvania on Saturday. The forge is known for having manufactured the ashtrays for the Hindenburg, the hydrogen filled German airship that crashed shortly after it took off. It is also known for having supplied custom made items to Walt Disney. The fire broke out in the Grove City branch of the forge. Wendell August has two other branches, one in Exton, in Pennsylvania, and the other in Berlin on Ohio.

Thankfully, no injuries have been registered, according to the president of Wendell August, Will Knecht. He also commented that business in Grove City will continue as before. According to the reports provided by him, the factory is going to undergo reconstruction as soon as possible. He also assured that the forge would be returning to business as soon as possible. However, the cause of the fire has not yet been known.

According to the witnesses, the building of the forge has been razed almost completely to the ground by the fire, which broke out some time around 3 in the afternoon. The employees and customers who were inside at the time the fire started thankfully made it out with the help of policemen and fire fighters who responded pretty fast to the alarm, thanks to an alert being sent out by the employees as well as the fans. An estimate of the damage has not yet been done. However, some sources report that the fire had been caused by some chemical spray, which got ignited by accident.
