Exclusive Behind-the-Scenes Clip from LAW ABIDING CITIZEN - Plus Some LAC Swag to Giveaway

With director F. Gary Gray’s Law Abiding Citizen hitting DVD/Blu-ray on Febuary 16, we’ve been given an exclusive behind the scenes clip from one of the big action scenes in the movie.  If you’ve seen the film, it’s the cemetery scene where Gerard Butler’s character attacks the convoy with a robot.  If you never saw the film, it’s a welcome return to action for Gerard Butler.

Also, to help promote the film, we’ve been given 5 posters and a Blu-ray (which features the unrated director’s cut with 11 additional minutes of footage) to giveaway to some of our readers.  Hit the jump for the clip and how to enter the giveaway:

So you’re probably asking how you can win a poster or the Blu-ray.

What you need to do is email thecollidermailbox@gmail.com with your name and address and say LAW ABIDING CITIZEN in the headline.  The contest/giveaway will be open until February 14 at noon Pacific Time. At that point, I’ll randomly pick five winners and send out the items as soon as the Anchor Bay mails them to me.  Four people will just win a poster and one person will win the poster and the Blu-ray.

Law Abiding Citizen follows Clyde Shelton (Gerard Butler), an upstanding family man whose wife and daughter are brutally murdered during a home invasion. When the killers are caught, Nick Rice (Jamie Foxx), a hotshot Philadelphia prosecutor, is assigned to the case.  Nick offers one of the suspects a light sentence in exchange for testifying against his accomplice.

Fast forward 10 years, the man who got away with murder is found dead and Clyde Shelton coolly admits his guilt. Then he issues a warning to Nick: Either fix the flawed justice system that failed his family, or key players in the trial will die.

Soon Shelton follows through on his threats, orchestrating from his jail cell a string of spectacularly diabolical assassinations that can be neither predicted nor prevented. Philadelphia is gripped with fear as Shelton’s high-profile targets are slain one after another and the authorities are powerless to halt his reign of terror. Only Nick can stop the killing, and to do so he must outwit this brilliant sociopath in a harrowing contest of wills in which even the smallest misstep means death. With his own family now in Shelton’s crosshairs, Nick finds himself in a desperate race against time facing a deadly adversary who seems always to be one step ahead.
