U toku programa, Hajri Smajicu, sekretaru Udruzenja, predstavnik grada St. Louis je urucio Proklamaciju koju je potpisao gradonacelnik grada St. Louis Francis Slay, inace dokazani prijatelj nase zajednice u St.Louisu. Proklamacijom je grad St. louis proglasio ovaj dan - danom sjecanja na zrtve srebrenickog genocida.

CITY OF SAINT LOUIS PROCLAMATION
Whereas, the City of St. Louis has been apprised that July 11, 2005, marks an important anniversary in annals of history; and
Whereas, it was on July 11, 1995, that an assault began on the people of Srebrenica, in Bosnia and Herzegovina; and
Whereas, over a five day period, it is estimated that over 8,000 Muslim men and boys were murdered in often cruel and hideous ways and 30,000 women and children were expelled from their homes, never allowed to return; and
Whereas, unfortunately, survivors of these violent acts have never nor will ever be able to be reunited with their loved ones or be able to bring closure to this terrible tragedy; and
Whereas, we, the People of the United States and especially in St. Lous have sought to comfort and aid to these Bosnians that have chosen to live here; and
Whereas, we must keep this tragedy fresh in our minds until justice has been served; and
Whereas, on this July 9th the 10th anniversary of the Srebrenica Genocide, the City of St. Louis joins with Bosnians around the world to remember those who lost their lives and to honor the survivors of this horrific campaign.
Now, therefore, I, Francis G. Slay, Mayor of the City of St. Louis, do hereby proclaim July 11, 2005, as:
"SREBRENICA REMEMBRANCE DAY"
IN THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I HAVE HEREUNTO SET MY HAND AND CAUSED TO BE AFFIXED THE SEAL OF THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS, THIS 11TH DAY OF JULY, A.D. 2005.

Slika prilikom uručivanja Proklamacije Srebreničkog Genocida od strane Grada Saint Louis-a u Missouri-ju Hajri Smajiću, sekretaru Udruženja Preživjelih Srebreničkog Genocida.
U samo nekoliko kobnih dana Jula 1995, Srebrenički Genocid je rezultirao u masovnim ubijanjima najmanje 8,372 Bošnjaka i etničkom čišćenju 25,000 - 30,000 Bošnjaka iz zašticene zone Ujedinjenih Nacija koja je bila izložena čestim napadima dobro naoružane vojske RS-a potpomognute sa vojskom Srbije i Crne Gore. Važno je napomenuti da se Vojska RS-a na okolnim brdima i u selima oko Srebrenice nikad nije demilitarizovala iako je to od njih zathjevano ugovorom o demilitarizaciji, a napadi na Srebrenicu su trajali od 1991 do 1995 godine.
