Our parent company is restructuring its debt as part of our long-term growth plan. We'd like to tell you what it all means.

WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU

The restructuring will have no impact on our local parks. In 2010, guests will see new rides and attractions, more and better-trained staff, longer park hours, expanded shopping and dining options, and performances by top musical acts—all at a great price for families watching their budgets. If you have any further questions, please contact your local park, or see our Restructuring FAQ below.

WHAT IT MEANS TO US

This restructuring will help our parent company eliminate debt and build for the future. It will have no impact on the day-to-day operations of our local parks. Our parks are profitable, but they have been burdened for too long with too much debt. Reducing our debt and interest expenses will allow us to build on the substantial progress we've made over the past three years and realize our extraordinary growth potential.

We've been busy, and our guests have given us top marks for customer satisfaction two years in a row. This means we can continue the massive upgrade program we started in 2006. We're hiring more staff, expanding hours, and improving service and attractions at all our parks. We're doing all this so we can give you the very best value in family entertainment.

An Open Letter From Our CEO to All Employees

WHAT IT MEANS TO SIX FLAGS EMPLOYEES

All of our employees will continue to be paid in full and on time. All benefits, including pensions, will be unaffected. No reduction in work force will arise out of this restructuring process.

Will Six Flags parks stay open this season?
Yes, our parks are open more days and longer hours so that families can have more time to create great memories. Six Flags recently announced the closing of Kentucky Kingdom due to rejection of the current lease. This is an isolated situation and does not affect any other Six Flags parks. We were not able to reach a new, fair and equitable lease agreement with the Kentucky State Fair Board and will close the park effective immediately. Learn more about Kentucky Kingdom

Will they be open next year?
Yes. In fact we are already planning new rides and attractions as we're getting ready for our
50th anniversary season in 2011.

Will my local park be sold?
Absolutely not. We know how important our parks are to their local communities—not only as a great place to have fun with your family, but also as an important source of jobs and revenue for local and state governments. We will continue to deliver the great rides, attractions and family-friendly entertainment you've become accustomed to for years to come.

Is my Season Pass still good?
Yes. Season Passes are valid—and still the best value around in family entertainment. If you're currently a Season Pass holder, we invite you to visit often and make the most of your pass. As a friendly reminder, your Six Flags Theme Park Season Pass works at 15 Six Flags parks. If you're not a Season Pass holder, please click here to purchase your Season Pass now.

Are my 2010 tickets valid?
Yes. Your tickets will be valid for the entire season. For your convenience, tickets and season passes may be purchased online and printed from your home computer. If you haven't bought your tickets yet, remember a Season Pass is a great value because we're offering more this year than ever before.

Will the new rides still open?
Yes. All of the new rides and exhibits will open as planned. For 2010, we're adding Mr. Six's DanceCoaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain, The Wiggles World at Six Flags White Water, Thomas Town at Six Flags America, The Little Dipper and Glow in the Park Parade at Six Flags Great America, Tornado at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor in New Jersey, a suspended looping coaster at Laronde, and more.

Will prices go up?
No. Six Flags prides itself on offering families more value for their hard-earned dollars. In fact, this year, we've reduced Season Pass prices from 2009 in many of our parks to make fun even more affordable.

Will the operating dates/hours change?
We've actually extended days and hours of operation at many of our parks in order to give guests more time to visit Six Flags and create lasting memories.

Will concerts still be held?
Absolutely! We're currently booking performances and have already announced concerts by
Mitchel Musso and Jeremy Camp. Stay tuned for more artists! And as you know, most concerts are FREE with paid admission or a Season Pass.

Is Six Flags hiring?
Definitely. We're seeing record turnout at our job fairs across the country, and the teams we're assembling are some of the most dedicated and highly motivated in our history. Six Flags employs more than 30,000 seasonal hosts and hostesses across our network of parks. If you're interested, you can submit your application at sixflagsjobs.com.

Will my group event take place?
Your group event will absolutely take place and we're looking forward to hosting you and your guests.
