Donegal Creameries revenues fall during 2009
Donegal Creameries has reported operating losses of €2m for the year ending December 2009.
The company had posted operating profits of €5.8m the previous year.
Revenues for the year fell by over 12% due to a big fall in market prices of dairy commodities with some decline in milk volumes produced at farm level.
Chief Executive of Donegal Creameries, Ian Ireland, said despite the negative impact of the economic conditions in 2009, the group delivered a satisfactory performance and the Board remains confident for the future.
