Part of Gen. Chalmers’ command headquartered at Panola [MS] in April 1863. Participated in the action on the Coldwater River with Bryant’s U.S. Infantry in March 1863.

Mentioned in the Official Records of the War of Northern Aggression as being under Chalmers’ command in the 5th Military District of the Dept. of Alabama, Mississippi, and East Louisiana in April 1863.
