Glee Renewed For Season 3

They say the Gleeks shall inherit, and you know what, they're not lying. FOX is proving they have a long term investment in Glee in big way – On the heels of a week that saw many series just now getting their renewal for next season, Glee has just been renewed for Season 3 – that's right, for a season that won't begin airing until September 2011.

EW.com announced the news, noting that Glee is the No. 1 new scripted series among the valuable 18-49 and 18-34 demographics. Glee creator Ryan Murphy said, in a statement released to EW, "It's been a whirlwind year – from shooting the pilot to performing at the White House to the concert tour that began last week – and yet we all feel like we've just begun this amazing musical journey. We think our Gleeks worldwide are going to love what we'll have in store for them in seasons two and three."

Glee already received an early renewal for Season 2 months ago. Season 1 of the series will conclude on June 8th.
