OFFICE WEAR - Weekend Uses for Workwear

Silk socks keep your sunglasses scuff-free.

Don´t wear drudgery on your sleeve. When yellow stains start to creep across your oxfords and dress socks wear thin, it´s time to transition them to less gland-intensive tasks.

    1. Cut the foot from your sock and turn the sock inside out.

    2. Hem the ankle opening.

    3. Turn right side out and stitch your ribbon to the elastic edge at the top of the ankle hem. Now you can tie the pouch shut. (Alternate method: turn right side out and stitch a button-sized loophole of ribbon to the edge of your sock.)

    4. Place glasses inside and fold any excess fabric at the top down.

    5. Place a pin where the loop falls.

    6. Sew on a button where you’ve pinned and button close.
