What have you been doing since your graduation from Otterbein?
I played professional baseball for a couple of years and then followed in my grandfather's footsteps as an entrepreneur. I enjoy having a vision and seeing it develop into a successful enterprise.
What interests and/or hobbies do you have?
My wife, Mary Sue, and our two Old English Sheepdogs reside on Anna Maria Island, Florida and in Cortez, Florida. We invest in real estate; go to the beach, golf and travel. I am so thrilled to be a part of the Alumni Council and contributing to the future of Otterbein.
What is a special Otterbein memory?
I have so many wonderful memories of Otterbein. I used to park in President Kerr's spot all the time and for months I never heard a word from him; I remember beating Marietta in baseball; going to Schneider's Bakery at 2 a.m.; getting up at 4 a.m. in the dead of winter for a radio show on WOBN (I was awful.) Probably the most special Otterbein memory to date is returning to campus last year after 25 years and seeing how much the College has changed, but also how much it has stayed the same. The facilities and the people are what make Otterbein special.
