The Bureau was pleased to host a roundtable discussion for representatives of the Bureau of African Affairs, Global Women's Issues Office, Women in Conflict Office, Democracy, Human Rights and Labor Bureau and Ms. Wallstrom. The IO Bureau welcomes the appointment of Ms. Wallstrom as an important step forward in halting the devastating effect of sexual violence in armed conflict.
