Hawaiian
Airlines to Launch Daily Nonstop Service Between
San
José/Silicon Valley and Honolulu Starting October 1
San José, CA ---- Hawaiian Airlines announced
today its plans to begin new, daily nonstop service on October 1 between
San José and Honolulu, Oahu.
The announcement marks Hawaiian Airlines’ first venture into serving
San José, the third largest city in California and the largest
city in the Bay Area.
“San José is the largest community in the Bay Area,”
said Joshua Gotbaum, trustee for Hawaiian Airlines. “Now its residents
will be able to get to the best airline in Hawaii without having to fight
the traffic to the City.”
The new service
will feature the wide-body Boeing 767 aircraft, equipped with 18 first-class
seats and 234 coach-class seats. Hawaiian Airlines’ new service
is being scheduled to provide travelers with an afternoon arrival in Honolulu
and time to catch convenient flights to other Hawaiian islands.
