Homebuilding gets to the heart of EAA, and you can learn just about every skill you need to build an airplane at AirVenture. Supported by Aircraft Spruce & Specialty and patterned after the highly successful EAA SportAir Workshops, these mini workshops let you experience a taste of aircraft building. Learn more

Speaker Showcase
An outstanding roster of aviation personalities is slated to appear every day, telling their personal stories throughout several locations at the world-class EAA AirVenture Museum. Over 100 Speaker Showcase presentations provide an opportunity to hear first hand from a variety of aviation legends and historians. Learn more

Author's Corner
Author's Corner is open daily at three locations - the EAA Wearhouse and the Sky Shoppe on the AirVenture grounds, and within the EAA AirVenture Museum. It’s not just about great aviation books - though there are plenty from which to choose.  Author’s Corner is more about special places where people from around the world drop by to converse about flight, patriotism, and friendships. Affordable Flying Center
Located in the former NASA building (north of the old control tower adjacent to the Honda Forums Plaza), the Affordable Flight Center will feature a mini forum area, indoor displays, and examples of Standard Category aircraft like the Taylorcraft, Piper Colt/Tri-Pacer, etc., that can provide an economical pathway to flight. EAA's staff of experts and volunteers will be on hand to answer questions and provide information to those seeking a less expensive way to pursue their aviation passion. Learn more

Learn to Fly Discovery Center
People pursuing the dream of becoming a pilot can receive inspiration, information, guidance, and a community of support at the Learn to Fly Center, which returns to EAA AirVenture this summer. EAA and its affiliate, the National Association of Flight Instructors (NAFI), will have the area staffed with experts eager to answer questions and show skyward-gazing enthusiasts that the goal of personal flight is attainable. Federal Pavilion
Throughout the week of AirVenture, the Federal Pavilion will include exhibits, aircraft from the various government agencies, live radar and weather monitoring demonstrations, and interactive displays, including the Wright Flyer and NOAA Hurricane simulators. Learn more

Runway 5K Fun Run
EAA has joined with the Oshkosh YMCA and RunAway Shoes to host a fun run/walk called the EAA Runway 5K. Held on the Saturday of AirVenture, participants of all ages will walk or run the 3.1 mile route around "EAA's North 40" on Wittman Road. Learn more

Women Soar You Soar
Ever wonder what it's like to fly a plane? Or soar into space? EAA's Women Soar You Soar is the ideal place for high school girls to find out. Now in its fourth year, the unique program introduces 150 girls to more than 30 women, from engineers to fighter pilots, working in a variety of aviation and aerospace fields. It's a two-day event filled with career exploration, discover, inspiration, and fun. Learn more

EAA's goal is to introduce aviation as an enjoyable interest, hobby, or profession to thousands of women over the next several years, and inspire women throughout the world that they, too, can reach for the sky…and elevate their life. Learn more

Gathering of Eagles
The Gathering supports Young Eagles and other EAA programs that inspire young people to become the engineers, aviators, astronauts, scientists, innovators ... the aviation pioneers of tomorrow. Learn more
