Pronto 3290 Availability Announced

The Pronto 3290 is an Ethernet switch with 48 gigabit ports and four 10-gigabit ports based on Broadcom silicon.  It supports the OpenFlow Switching 1.0 protocol with hardware acceleration for full matching support, all required actions and additional optional actions.  Pricing, likely to be under $3000 for academic institutions, and availability have just been announced [...]
