Lindsay Lohan's parents Dina and Michael react to daughter's jail sentence: 'This is so not fair'

Lindsay Lohan's estranged parents watched in shock Tuesday afternoon as the troubled actress was sentenced to 90 days behind bars for violating probation stemming from a pair of 2007 DUI busts.
"This is so not fair to do this to my child," mom Dina Lohan told PopEater after L.A. Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel made the announcement.
Ignoring Lindsay's weepy plea for sympathy, Revel sentenced the 24-year-old actress to three consecutive 30-day sentences, as well as 90 days in a drug- and alcohol-rehab facility.
Dina was not present in the Beverly Hills courtroom, but her ex-husband, Michael, was there.
"[Jail] is the last thing I wanted for my daughter," he told RadarOnline.com after the hearing, adding that prescription drugs are to blame for her legal and personal problems.
"These [prescription] drugs are killing my daughter and killing millions of kids in America, and someone has to stop it," he continued. "Lindsay needs to go into a rehab that takes you off prescription drugs, not puts you on them."
Michael also appeared on "Larry King Live" Tuesday night, saying he was in "dismay" over the ordeal.
"But at the same time, [I feel a] little satisfaction that she's going to a rehab. But the last thing in the world I wanted was for my daughter to go to jail," he said. "This girl needs a rehab, she needs help. If Lindsay's lawyer and Lindsay would have just listened to us, she would have been in a rehab, she would have been on a the way to being clean and sober and have her life back. Instead, she got jail and rehab."
According to Radar, Michael's attorney, Lisa Bloom, presented a letter to the court asking that the "Mean Girls" actress be sent to a rehab treatment facility before having to serve time. However, because he isn't a party to the case, the judge likely will stick with her ruling.
LiLo must continue wearing her alcohol-monitoring ankle bracelet until the morning of July 20, when she enters Los Angeles County's Century Regional Detention Facility, an all-female jail that was once a temporary home to inmates Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie.
