BoA is not the girl people know from five years ago.
It seems like Korea’s biggest pop star BoA has changed over the years.
A mature BoA caught the eyes of the netizens on Entertainment Relay where she had an interview at her photoshoot.
Netizens said,
“This is not the BoA I remember.”
“Did she get plastic surgery?
“She even acts different.”
People have noticed that she’s much older now and she looks like it. Her baby fat is completely gone and compared to the idols these days, she seems unfamiliar.
She told her fans during the interview to look forward to her comeback. We sure will.

I know BoA wasn’t active in korea for the past five years, but she didn’t disappear she was very much active in japan and i was still listening to her music. i don’t know why everybody is shock at how she looks now shes not 16 yrs old anymore and she grew up, but i must admit that she does look a tad bit older than her actually age and i keep forgetting that shes only 23 yrs old.

um, 5 years is a LOT of time to change both mentally & physically. looks like she lost all of her baby fat & went through .. a bit of hell during her america promotions, which i’m sure was unimaginably stressful. regardless, i think she looks great.

Obviously these korean netizens hasn’t been following BoA’s career over in Japan. If they had they would of known that she hadn’t had plastic surgery and that she just got older, and that of course she matured individual as well. Also they would known that she has improve so much as an artist her Japanese music is amazing.
She’s not THAT old…hasn’t even hit 25 yet, not even in Korean Age…Dara is older than BoA for God’s sake…

Now I wish that SNSD would grow up… I know ppl love their “cuteness” (i do too) but theyre all in their 20’s and have only just started moving away from “cute” in Run Devil Run.
