Leicester City have signed striker Leon Crncic on a free transfer. Crncic, 20, linked up with the club on their pre-season tour to Slovenia and impressed Paulo Sousa with his performances.

The former Atalanta frontman scored in City's 5-2 friendly win over Slovenian side NK Aluminij and becomes Paulo Sousa's second summer signing after capturing Portuguese defender Miguel Vitor on a season long loan deal.

Crncic will contest for the striking positions with the likes of DJ Campbell, Steve Howard and Matty Fryatt who have all looked sharp in pre-season.
