Renton, Wash. - The Seattle Seahawks have traded a 2012 undisclosed draft choice to the Detroit Lions in exchange for tackle Tyler Polumbus.
Detroit claimed Polumbus off of waivers from the Denver Broncos on August 26, 2010. Polumbus played two seasons for Denver (2008-09). The 25-year-old saw action in 31 games and started eight of the Broncos' final nine games at right tackle in 2009. Polumbus entered the league in 2008 as an undrafted free agent.
Polumbus attended the University of Colorado where he played in 48 career games (28 starts).
To make room, the Seahawks placed cornerback Josh Pinkard on the reserve/non-football injury (NFI) list.
Additionally, the club traded Josh Wilson to Baltimore and signed defensive end James Wyche.
