Fans of the Miami Heat are not waiting to see if LeBron James joins Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in South Beach.
The Miami Herald reported that "no tickets were available for the 2010-2011 season on the team's website as of 11:15 a.m. Thursday." The report said that just hours earlier there were a few season tickets in the lower bowl for $6,000 a piece, but those were gobbled up in anticipation of the formation of a megateam.
The team has held back a few single-game tickets for the public, though it's likely those will be gone quickly as well, the report said.
According to the Herald, fans attempting to buy season tickets on the team's website Wednesday -- before the LeBron rumors picked up further steam -- were greeted by an error message that read, "Due to an overwhelming demand, we cannot process your request at this time. Please call 786.777.HOOP to purchase your 2010-2011 season tickets.''
Wade and Bosh announced Wednesday that they will team up together in Miami, which also hopes to land James. The King will announce his decision in a live one-hour special at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN. The Heat are the frontrunners; Cleveland, New York, Chicago, New Jersey and, yes, the Los Angeles Clippers are holding their collective breath.
One thing is for sure, a statement neither said nor written much during this three-ring circus, LeBron will be the hottest ticket in whichever town he chooses.

Id pay the extra ticket price....Miami's gonna have more rings than Saturn.
The East needed to enhance its quality of play, so I`m glad several of the glamor markets of the East have added a name free agent. Bosh, Stoudemire, Johnson, etc., seem more like half max guys to me. I don`t think they are as good as a healthy Yao, Howard, James, Bryant, Wade. And what will the Miami South fans do if James signs to be the King of the Kings, in Sacramento, which the northeastern press ignored had cap room, but whom James chatted with, or the Los Angeles Clippers? Demand their money back? The Heat will need that $12 million or whatever it turns out to be, to replace Jermain O`Neal, now maybe starting center for the Boston Celtics, among others. The free agent signings of significance will not end tonight with the signing of the regular season MVP. I doubt if Shaq will resign with a team he has been with, but he may may until he`s the same age, more or less as Robert Parish was, especially if he can continue to start for championship contenders. And at least a couple of while teams may declare themselves free agents, and move to a larger, and/or faster growing, market. But teams not at least two or three superstars to contend for the championship. And I`m glad for one of the Florida teams it now has a second legit all star candidate. Florida could stand to add more good Nba teams, though, in St. PetersburgBradenton, and elsewhere, and more jobs, espcially hiring the unemployed who have homes already in Florida, who are brilliant, long winded, politically incorrect, bloggers!
The Lakers and Boston again next year!!!!!
