ESPN Yakkers Go HD Next Week
By Swanni

Washington, D.C. (September 20, 2010) -- ESPN next week will begin broadcasting the daytime talk shows, Pardon the Interruption and Around the Horn, in High-Definition.

That's according to an article today by Sports Business Journal.

PTI, co-hosted by Tony Kornheiser and Michael Wilbon, and Around the Horn, a panel show featuring opinionated sports reporters, are among the last holdouts in ESPN's HD lineup.

Pardon the Interruption launched in 2001 while Around the Horn began in 2002.
Both shows are produced in Washington, D.C. area studios.

The Washington Business Journal reported last year that the shows would be moved to ABC News studios in Washington to accommodate the high-def broadcasts.

Around the Horn airs at 5 p.m. ET weekdays and is followed by PTI at 5:30 p.m.
