Salah is arguably on of the best dancers in the world.  He has been training since infancy and discovered how to move, bend, twist and extend his body in ways thought to be impossible.  Salah competes and performs for international audiences year round, whether it’s for the prince of Dubai, teaching a class in Tokyo or on the his native streets of Paris you can find him everywhere.


But Salah is not just a dancer, he’s an entertainer.  He can mime, imitate, deliver jokes, create incredible sound effects and play off the audience all improvisational.  He has won countless battles, just ‘YouTube’ his name to find over 5,000 videos some with nearly a million hits each of these performances. Salah has received many national and international prizes for dancing. Recently he filmed “Rude Box” a music video for international pop star Robbie Williams. In late 2006 he won the French Talent Show, INCROYABLE TALENT, which is the French equivalent of AMERICA’S GOT TALENT, and the 2nd highest rated show in the country! 


So it’s no surprise that if you’re a dancer, or want to be a dancer, you’ve heard of Salah.  He is a legend.  Other he’s worked with other famous dancer’s such as Dominique Rebaud, José Montalvo, Alain Chabat Astérix, Cléopâtre and Patrick Sébastien, and just to be in his presence and see him perform live is almost a religious experience.  He is one of few street dancers to break out of the underground to the mainstream and he’s showing no signs of slowing down. 



Cole “Bboy Colione” Walliser  is Bboy Jay

Dance has been in Cole Walliser's life since he was little. Starting at age 7 choreographing a routine to "Raise Your Hands" to perform to his parents, to organizing lunchtime dance-offs in elementary school Cole has always been a kid on the move.


Dance became a more serious passion in 1999 when he started B-Boying. After a few years or practice and battling he was chosen as one of the worlds top up and coming street dancers and participated in the 2004 Red Bull Beat Riders week long workshop. That same year he also represented Canada in the 2004 World Youth Dance Festival in Macau China.


Cole moved to Los Angeles in 2006 and has been perusing dance ever since. He started a performing company called Three Step Productions and will be performing in the self titled Groovaloo show this June in Orange County. Aside from dance Cole is progressing in his directing career having worked on projects with Toni Braxton, Britney Spears and most recently Miley Cyrus, where he directed a dance video as a part of an online dance battle. This video has received over 2 million views in a week. Cole is excited and looking forward to what the future beholds!


Celine ‘LockAdelic” Thubert is the DJ

It was just one year ago when Celine, better known to the dance community as LockAdelic, left France much like the main character of Beats Per Minute to pursue her dreams as a dancer. She found her niche with the style of dance ‘Locking’, and has taken it to the next level. 


She has worked with the best lockers in the world: SugaPop, Greg Campbellock JR, and Toni Basil to name a few. You may have also seen her working as model for L’Oreal Paris, Coca Cola, Adidas, Nike and Motorola.


Having worked with Beyonce and won various street dance competitions, you’ll most likely meet her getting down in a cypher. LockAdelic works as choreographer and teaches classes in Los Angeles.  



Leigh Fox is Sophia

Leigh has had a passion for performance since childhood and began her career as lead songwriter, singer and bassist for The Pinkslips, an indie-rock band out of Chapel Hill, NC whose debut album was produced by former members of Ben Folds Five and The Squirrel Nut Zippers.


She began her acting career in North Carolina with films produced by the Carolina Production Guild before moving to NY in 2005 to attend the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.  She can be seen in an upcoming guest-starring role in The Human Pet, an interactive fictional horror series that has become a web cult-hit. Leigh now lives in Los Angeles and in addition to acting she recently became spokes model for Julian Rouas Paris perfume in 2008. 


Laurent Puechguirbal is Henri

Laurent was born in France and currently lives in Los Angeles. He studied acting and performed in Paris and New York. He wrote screenplays and published De l’amour…a la mort, and Your Truth. He is currently directing his first short film Suspended in Los Angeles.

 






Eve Blangiardo is The Casting Agent

Eve Blangiardo has studied acting for the past eight years. She attended the Stella Adler Conservatory of Acting in NYC, as well as the School for Film and Television.  She now resides in Los Angeles California and is a student at The Groundlings School for Improvisation.


Her past independent feature roles include:  Privacy, Obsession, Searching For Bobby D, Torture Me No More, and Sea of Dust.  She plays a wide variety of roles, ranging from a police detective to a Killer Harpy Creature. In addition to film she has appeared in the pilot, New York Private Investigator on Court TV, and as a Co – Host for the pilot, The Gian Carlo Talerico Cooking Show.


Eve is a choreographer, group fitness instructor, and loves to scuba dive. She sends much love and appreciation to all the wonderful family, friends, and angels that have brought her to who she is today. She thanks Andrea for having her be part of Beats Per Minute.
