Stay tuned: Cincinnati's WXIX looking for new space

WXIX-TV Channel 19 is searching for a new home.

General Manager Bill Lanesey said the 100-employee Fox Network affiliate has outgrown the studio space available at the 19 Broadcast Plaza building just west of the central business district. He’d like to find a property that parent company Raycom Media Inc. could purchase instead of lease.

“We’d like to stay in the downtown area, within a mile or two of where we are now,” Lanesey said. “All options are on the table. Leasing isn’t necessarily the best option if you can find a good deal on a purchase.”
