Justin Bieber Supports Pencils of Promise at Youth Power Event

We brought to you the news that Justin Bieber was at the Variety’s Power of Youth event, but we were not sure why he was there. Well Popstar! caught him on the red carpet and he talked to them about supporting schools. You can catch the mini interview that Popstar! had with Justin at the bottom of this post, along with two other videos of the event.

I think that it is great that he went there to support his pet project Pencils of Promise, but to attend a non-related event for it is a little odd. I suppose it does no harm for him or his project, but still it just sounds more like a PR move for him.

What do you think of the mini interview? I think that it is nice that he is talking about it, but I really feel as if this was all a trick to keep his name in the media. Do you agree or do you think that it was really for his cause and not for his own name?
