The forum is down for a while now. Usually it's online again after some days or weeks, but our admin seems to run out of resolution this time. I'm going to take over and build the forum from scrap again. I dunno if I'll use phpbb forum again, the number of spams are enormous. Give me time to think about it. Any help and tips are appreciated. Thanks.

Basic things are settled down after the move. But I got two projects at the same time. Now I'm quite busy with work and there's not much free time left for drawing. It's a drag I know and I'm sorry. The work will take me at least another month to finish, or maybe longer. I don't know because many are involved in making decisions. Anyway, as soon as work is done, I'll be back to YWAM again.

Geez talking about being late. I'm half a year away from last update. I'm sure most of you are quite annoyed by now. Sorry to make you wait so long and I won't excuse myself. I've been a bad mangaka lately and unfortunately I don't know how to cure it. One thing for sure I won't leave YWAM unfinished, please don't worry about that. Even though it will take me forever I will finish it. Well let's make that couple of more years, we're not that far away from the ending. So here's 15 pages and I will free the restricted pages tomorrow.

Like always all delays will be added to everyone's account duration. If you find out that your account doesn't last long enough to read the promised amount of pages, please don't hesitate to write me. I'll look into your account and reactivate it.

I've been a mess for the last couple of months. Distractions are there when I didn't need them to be. All delays in dates are add up to your account duration, you will get your share of pages. Hello from the hot and humid Japan, it's Tsuyu right now so it rains a lot and humidity is something I still need to get used to. Taihen omataseshimashita (Sorry for the wait) 5 pages are added and it's a beginning of another complicated act both in story and drawing. But again I'm overdued, I'm not happy with the situation and I'm sure you aren't either. The best I can do right now is explain the situation and prolong everyone's subscription like last time. All subscriber will get an email from the system once this is done.
As for me, this is my 3rd weeks in Japan, I spent my first days sleeping cause I was still sick. I will NEVER EVER want to get sick again this year. I was sick for a whole month! When I was healthy again I learn and try to get used to the daily life. Everything's new here, it's exciting but it's less fortunate when it comes to buying something like a computer. Unfortunately I don't have my own PC so I'm working with a borrowed laptop. I just realized how old and slow it is when I start texturing my pages. The scanner I bought came in Japanese, it was a lot of fun installing a hardware with only questionmarks displayed -_-; but I managed to order a new PC online, let's just hope I understand the whole ordering, payment & shipping and the PC will really arrive in 2 weeks.
Meanwhile I'll keep working with the laptop and try not to pass the next deadline. Thanks for your patience and thanks to everyone who newly subscribed and those who renew their accounts. Bad news mina-san, I'm not going to finish the 14 pages until tomorrow, which should be the end of the 1st subscription period. I was out of the country for 2 weeks meeting some serious family problems, when I came back I was worn out and now I'm sick. Unfortunately I can't draw in this state so please give me another month.
Of course I won't ask you to pay for this month, that's why everyone who has an active account before May 15th 2006 will get 1 month added to their expiry date for free. The expiry dates will be changed at May 15th which is tomorrow. Sorry for the troubles.

Hiya everyone. I just added an award from Visual Garden, it's been a while since I get one O_O; Thanks Alex! Life has been hectic cause I'm preparing to move to Japan in 3 months. Anyway don't worry about updates they'll be there when they're ready. I also have a major problem with Eigomanga. I can only say; Stay away from them!!! They haven't been paying any royalties as they've promised to the mangaka. Being one of the mangaka I'm not pleased with the situation. I'll explain this issue in details soon.

Now I'm really back online. Gave back the old app keys to the landlord yesterday, the app was all cleaned and done. Muscleaches on both arms and legs so I'm going to leave my current app in it's mess. I might get used to living with boxes *ugh*. Anyway now that I'm back I'll work on the manga again. Happy Birthday Ethan!!! Here's to your... err.. how old are you again? Hehe anyway I hope everyone will enjoy the wallpaper & I have another good news for you.
I have redesign a new subscription concept and it's looking good. There will be some polishing needed for details but the main concept is certain. I've checked out many subscriptions softwares which can support this concept but unfortunately none of them are suitable for my needs.
So I'm going to ask a good friend to programm it instead. She'll need about a month. So hopefully next month the subscription will roll.
Meanwhile there'll be a very cool fanwork contest coming. Keep your eyes open for more news ^_^

The ML and forum members already know about this but in case anyone is wondering, I've decided to post it here as well. Major problems on creating the subscription-system. At first I was concentrating in creating login-system & protected directories but I didn't know that those were only small part of it. So now I got the portal for login-system, protected directory, user list done (Thanks Luz!) but that's not enough O_O;

I need a system which can manage subscription: activate account with any kind of payment methods, auto mass mailing on notifications for joining & expiry warning, auto deactivate on expiry, auto retrieving forgotten passwords etc. I didn't thought of those before & it's not easy to create. I might end up buying a subscription software instead, cost about 130 US$ and I just spent 200 US$ on this new server. Has anyone noticed that www.aoihayashi.com was down for some time? Yep I was moving the domain because the old server can't handle the bandwidth with subscription.

Anyway I'm still aiming for the system to be finished in October, if I want to make it quick I can just buy the software but 130 US$ is a lot of money, so please give me time to look for other solution first. Sorry for the troubles.

On subscription: The login system is the most difficult one to finish. Please wish me luck on this. Everything else is moving along. To have the subscription running smoothly I need a better provider to hold up the bandwidth so I'm going to move www.aoihayashi.com to another provider soon. During this time both the site & my email address will be down. A mirror is however set up here: www.aoihayashi.de hope that'll make up it.

I'll need to build & integrate a login system, get a new server & update the website for the subscription. Fortunately I got a YWAMer who can help me with php programming, I hope he'll be back soon from holiday so we can move on. Nonetheless this will take some time. I presume about a month or more. Finished a new wallpaper today. I've always wanted to draw Ethan practicing Aikido & here it is finally. The technique he's using is call "Shihonage", the symbol in the background is his "Kamon" aka family crest. The kanji written is obviously saying "Aikido" ^^; Hope you like it as much as I do, Shinonage used to be my own fave technique. Of course.. I couldn't perform it as good as he does >.<

Happy birthday little one... I hope you guys like her birthday wallpaper. Aahh.. it's been a while since I last draw something. Anyway what I want to say is, I'm back and I'll start drawing soon so I hope to update in a month or so.
There is something very important about YWAM existence which I'm giving much thoughts into. As soon as I sorted this out I'll announce it here and ask for feedbacks, so be sure to come back every once in a week. You wouldn't want to miss this.

Finally an update. This update is dedicated to Cristian. He gave me great mental supports and pushed me to move on. He was also helping me with correcting the dialogs when it was done. Cristian, this one if for you. Unfortunately your fave chara is not in it but I hope you still enjoy it.
I also have to say thank you to Donna. YWAM was in hiatus for quite a while, there was really nothing going on. Some of the sections on the website were down, the forum was lost, it was kinda frustating. You gave me your donation at that time and it meant a lot to me. I gained more confident to go on after that. I don't know if you're going to read this but if you do thank you so much.
It was tough for everyone who have to wait so long, I'm sorry for that. It was not easy for me either. I had to wait until it clicked inside saying "This is it! This is the kind of scenes I want". It took longer than I expected but now I'm just glad that the 19 pages are done. Thank you all YWAMers for waiting and I hope to hear what you think about it. Manga update, 9 pages this time. This has been the most difficult update for me. It took so long cause my hand injuries seems to have an effects of my drawing, besides these scenes has been reconsidered and reconstructed, again and again and again. Anyway... I'm moving to another town 350 miles away. I've been busy searching for apartment since December & had to take care of so many things lately. Finally I'll move all my belongings tommorow and in the new apartment there's no internet connection yet. I don't even have bed, table or kitchen. To make this short I have to renovate my old apartment, renovate & furnish the new one. Meaning I won't have any time left for YWAM at all. I'm really sorry but unfortunately I can't help it. So please excuse my absence and I'll probably be back in March or later. Wish me luck with everything so I can be back as soon as possible. I always wanted to reorganize the whole site so now I've done that. This one has a high flexibility for maintainance and it's faster than the old one. It's important that everyone can view this site correctly without having to wait too long for the site to load.
