  • Malcom Floyd (WR) SD

    Updated 11/19/10 5:42 PM

Floyd was limited at practice Friday after experiencing some soreness in his hamstring, the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Impacts: Though Floyd's limitations Friday represent something of a setback, there is still optimism that he will play Monday against the Broncos. "We do have a little bit of time to get him some rest and hopefully he'll be all right," coach Norv Turner said Friday. More on the wideout's status once the Chargers release their official injury report Saturday.

  • Ryan Mathews (RB) SD

    Updated 11/19/10 5:29 PM

The Chargers expect to be without Mathews (ankle) Monday against the Broncos, the San Diego Union-Tribune reports. "I doubt a guy can improve enough in two days to be healthy enough to play on a Monday night," coach Norv Turner said of his running back Friday. "If he improves dramatically, I would consider playing him."

Impacts: That's a lot of iffiness attached to a player playing on Monday, making Mathews a very risky play this week. We'll see how he is listed officially, but at this point it looks like Mike Tolbert is in line to handle the bulk of the Chargers' rushing load this week.

  • Eddie Royal (WR) DEN

    Updated 11/19/10 3:56 PM

Royal missed practice Friday due to a hamstring injury, Lindsay Jones of the Denver Post reports.

Impacts: We'll have to see how the Broncos list Royal Saturday before we can get any sort of read on his likely availability for Monday's game against the Chargers.

  • Calvin Johnson (WR) DET

    Updated 11/19/10 3:52 PM

Johnson (knee) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Cowboys, DetroitLions.com reports.

Impacts: Healthy? Check. Pass-happy offense? Check. Ridiculous physical tools? Check. Matchup against a weak pass defense? Check. Start him with confidence.

  • Jahvid Best (RB) DET

    Updated 11/19/10 3:41 PM

Best (toe) returned to practice Friday and is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Cowboys, DetroitLions.com reports.

Impacts: Yes, the Cowboys have been getting shredded by opposing running backs recently, but Best managed just 2.1 yards per carry (17 carries for 35 yards) against the soft Bills last week, so a good matchup is no guarantee that he'll produce. He can't seem to get it going and is probably best used as a flex option at this point.

  • LeSean McCoy (RB) PHI

    Updated 11/19/10 3:12 PM

As expected, McCoy (shoulder) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Giants, PhiladelphiaEagles.com reports.

Impacts: McCoy has gradually ramped up his practice participation all week and should be ready to go Sunday. The Giants boast one of the league's stoutest run defenses, but McCoy - the No. 8 running back in standard scoring systems - has been producing against defenses both good and bad this year.

  • Andre Johnson (WR) HOU

    Updated 11/19/10 3:02 PM

Johnson (ankle) was limited at practice Friday, but is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Jets, the Texans' official site reports.

Impacts: The last time the two teams met -- in Houston's 2009 season opener -- Jets' cornerbcak Darrelle Revis (expected to cover Johnson Sunday) held the Texans' star wideout to just 35 yards on four receptions. It's a matchup worth noting, but only those who are loaded at wideout can really consider benching Johnson.

  • Chris Wells (RB) ARZ

    Updated 11/19/10 2:53 PM

Wells (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chiefs, AZCardinals.com reports.

Impacts: Wells expects to play Sunday and said his knee has really improved over the past week, but we've heard a similar story before, so we're not willing to make a very strong recommendation until we actually see him produce on the field. Use with caution this week, but if he looks okay, his prospects will get a lot brighter going forward.

  • Matt Schaub (QB) HOU

    Updated 11/19/10 2:46 PM

Schaub (knee) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jets, the Texans' official site reports.

Impacts: That said, coach Gary Kubiak declared his QB "ready to go" after Schaub took his normal reps at practice Friday. "He did everything today, took everything he does on Friday, so he's fine," Kubiak added. We suppose that Schaub's injury designation is more of a "barring a setback" caveat than anything else.

  • Brett Favre (QB) MIN

    Updated 11/19/10 2:12 PM

Favre (ankle/foot) was a full participant in Friday's practice and is listed as probable this week against Green Bay.

Impacts: Favre's assortment of ailments shouldn't be a worry this week. He may also get Sidney Rice back, so there's reason to think he can improve at home after throwing three interceptions and losing a fumble last week.

  • Pierre Thomas (RB) NO

    Updated 11/19/10 1:49 PM

Thomas (ankle) has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Seahawks, NFL.com reports.

Impacts: Thomas was never expected to play in this game, but he has started to cut on his injured ankle, so a Week 12 return could be a possibility. We'll revisit his status next week.

  • Jeremy Shockey (TE) NO

    Updated 11/19/10 1:44 PM

Shockey (ribs) has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Seahawks, NFL.com reports.

Impacts: Shockey was unable to practice Friday, so the Saints will shut him down and let him recover in the hopes that he'll be ready to play in Week 12 at Dallas. With Shockey out, David Thomas and Jimmy Graham will get the bulk of the tight end work.

  • Austin Collie (WR) IND

    Updated 11/19/10 1:37 PM

Collie (concussion) was a full participant in Friday's practice, but is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against New England.

Impacts: Head coach Jim Caldwell said Thursday that Collie hadn't been cleared to play in a game, so he'll likely be a game-time decision. If he's active, we assume he'll play. But the Colts are unlikely to announce whether he's passed his final concussion test given their lack of forthright injury information. Still, fantasy owners should get a clue Saturday. If it's announced he'll travel with the Colts on Saturday, it's likely a good bet he's been cleared to play in the game.

  • Joseph Addai (RB) IND

    Updated 11/19/10 1:24 PM

Addai (shoulder) did not practice Friday and is listed as questionable for this week's game against New England, ESPN.com reports.

Impacts: Addai returned to practice Thursday for the first time since suffering a shoulder injury on Oct. 17, which raised hopes he could return this week. However, the Colts rarely put players into a game who don't practice Friday. He looks too risky to use for fantasy purposes this week, but his progress increases the chances he could return in Week 12.

  • Bernard Berrian (WR) MIN

    Updated 11/19/10 12:58 PM

Berrian (groin) was limited in Friday's practice and is listed as questionable against Green Bay. He'll be a game-time decision. "He'll have to be able to run a go route," head coach Brad Childress told the Minneapoils Star Tribune. "There's no other way you can say it. We'll have to see him do that [on Sunday]."

Impacts: Berrian looks like a risky option for fantasy purposes this week. Last week he didn't decide he couldn't play due to the groin injury until after pregame warmups, so it's no sure thing he'll play a full game even if active. If Sidney Rice returns this Sunday, Berrian's role in the passing game could be reduced to a fourth receiver. Avoid Berrian this week as a result until there are no other options.

  • Mike Goodson (RB) CAR

    Updated 11/19/10 12:53 PM

With Jonathan Stewart (concussion) and Tyrell Sutton (ankle) both out this week, Goodson will likely start against the Ravens.

Impacts: Goodson racked up 100 yards on 23 carries last week, but running against the Buccaneers and running against the Ravens are two different things. Baltimore has been incredibly strong against the run recently, making Goodson a somewhat risky fantasy play despite his status as the lead back.

  • Sidney Rice (WR) MIN

    Updated 11/19/10 12:40 PM

Rice (hip) told ESPN's Ed Werder that he will play Sunday against Green Bay. "I'm going to play. I don't think I can go the whole game but I'm going to play as much as I can," he said. However, the Vikings won't make an official decision until Saturday at 3 pm. He's not on the official injury report since he's not on the active roster.

Impacts: Head coach Brad Childress said earlier Friday that Rice would play this weekend or be shut down for the season. It looks like Rice will play, but check Saturday to make sure he's added to the 53-man roster. Childress has said he'll play a limited role when he returns, so his full impact may not be felt for another week or two.

  • Donald Driver (WR) GB

    Updated 11/19/10 12:03 PM

Driver (quad) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Vikings after being limited in practice all week, Packers.com reports.

Impacts: The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that Driver looked good in practice, running routes ranging from short to deep. If his quad responds well to the increased activity, there's a good chance he'll play, but you'll need to verify his status Sunday morning if you plan to use him.

  • Mike Williams (WR) TB

    Updated 11/19/10 10:25 AM

Williams will start Sunday's game against the 49ers despite getting arrested on suspicion of DUI early Friday morning, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

Impacts: Coach Raheem Morris met with his team's captains before making the decision to allow Williams to play while the legal process runs its course. Williams' blood alcohol level was less than the legal limit of .08, but the officer asked Williams to submit to a urine test to determine whether he was under the influence of a substance other than alcohol. This story isn't over yet, and Williams may still face punishment at some point, but he should be safe to deploy in fantasy leagues this week.

  • Mike Sims-Walker (WR) JAC

    Updated 11/19/10 10:24 AM

Sims-Walker (ankle) will be listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Browns, the Jaguars'official site reports.

Impacts: Mike Thomas could see some added looks for the Jags this week as a result, while Sims-Walker's "doubtful" designation should be all the deterrent his owners need to sit him Sunday.
