WATCH IT: Black Eyed Peas "The Time (Dirty Bit)" (Rich Lee, dir.)

While the hook is decidedly retro, director Rich Lee applies a damn cool effect to Black Eyed Peas to play up the group's otherwise futuristic stylings. When the Peas and the other partygoers in the video reach a certain stage of elations (or inebriation) they burst into a 3-D pixellated version of themself, almost like a bit of cubism art come to life. The other notable elements in the video — other than the ubiquitous product placement, of course — are the animated version of the 8-bit BEP caricatures that are featured on The Beginning album art. --> watch "The Time (Dirty Bit)"
