Rovi licenses IPG technology to third party guide developers, including digital cable and satellite providers, consumer electronics manufacturers, set-top box manufacturers, interactive television software providers, and program guide providers in the online, computer, and mobile phone businesses.

Inclusion of ACP technologies within CE, PC and IC products supports the delivery of consumer content to today's digital consumer—and is a necessary step towards compliance with U.S. copyright laws.
