STATE ELECTION: Mordialloc and Carrum go to the Liberals

Mordialloc and Carrum are among a swag of Labor seats to fall to the Liberals.
MORDIALLOC: Labor MP Janice Munt has been ousted by Casey Mayor Lorraine Wreford, losing her margin in a 6 per cent swing against her.
With around 70 per cent of votes counted, Ms Munt has 48 per cent of a two-party preferred poll, while Ms Wreford has 52 per cent support.
The seat had been held by Ms Munt since the 2002 election.
Greens candidate Camellia Feteiha scored around nine per cent of the vote.
CARRUM: Kingston Deputy Mayor Donna Bauer has swept Labor MP Jenny Lindell out of the seat she has held since wrestling it back from the Liberals in 1999.
With 64 per cent of the vote counted, Ms Bauer has netted 52 per cent of the two-party preferred poll, while Ms Lindell has 48 per cent.
Carrum Green Henry Kelsall snagged nine per cent of the vote.

Congratulations to Lorraine Wreford on her victory. The only person who will be happier than Lorraine on the victory will be Upper House Lib, Inga Peulich who has successfully organized through her direct involvement in Local Government, two of her cronies into state seats namely Lorraine and Donna Bauer, (Kingston Council) only missing Geoff Ablett (Casey Council ) to make it a perfect trifecta.
