The only "horror" I see on this list is The Crazies and not even. That film sucked.

I totally agree, it was a total ripoff, I laughed at a few lines, got up and walked out and left 2 friends there, later they said it got worse and slap on the back for walking out.
A little money and relatives in the business, and anything can happen.

ZOMBIELAND.
But Kyle Gallner was so extreamly attractive in A Nightmare On Elm Street. It's not the best remake, and they shouldn't remade it, but Katie Cassidy & Kyle Gallner did a good job i thought.

Let me make myself clear A Nightmare On Elm Street 2010 was the best remake ever made in history of remakes! Why you may ask because it made Freddy actually scary again thats right I said it scary!!! Lets see by Elm Street 3 Freddy was killing boy wizards by Elm Street 4 he was eating people off a freaken pizza by Elm Street 5 Freddy was killing people in comic books! By Elm Street 6 Freddy was killing people by playing a video game! The remake went back to hardcore roots of original Freddy and actually made series scary again and thats why its the BEST REMAKE OF ALL TIME! Jackie Earle Haley rocks!!! Even Robert himself is happy Jackie is new Freddy saying quote Jackie Earle Haley is one best actors to come along in last 50 years of film! :)

i didn't watch Nightmare On Elm Street i heard it was horrible but that Jackie's performance as Freddy was great...haven't heard of Thirst...and not because it isn't a great movie but Zombieland was too damn funny i can't think of it as a horror movie...i though Shutter Island was really cool nice thriller...The Crazies was pretty rad but i love Paranormal Activity...i know there is alot of haterz but i think a movie that was made for so little and made the impact it did is awesome...go Paranormal!!!

I mean if we talk about a real Horror movie "The crazies" is the one, maybe the title ? Because thats a damn real horror movie and very appealing. Paranormal Activity is just plain and boring and Zombieland is more of a comedy
Men "The Crazies" has it all, I am wondering why went under the radar, love the cast

Fuck this is a tough choice between Zombieland and Nightmare, but Zombieland was more a comedy, so I'm voting for Nightmare on Elm Street, because I like the direction that was taken with the remake.

Zombieland was really a comedy to me, I don't really consider it a real Horror, they should have a category for Comedy-Horror.
And yeah the best part was with Bill Murray and Woody Harrelson >.< cracked me up!
but Nightmare on Elm Street and Paranormal Activity I would consider horror movies, and they were both pretty decent. Even though NOBODY can replace Robert Englund, it was still a great movie the storyline was so realistic. Paranormal Activity took awhile to get started, It could have been better a lot better but it was the guys first movie so I dont blame him also it was only made with 14,000 bucks. So I give the guy props! :D
