« Senior Kitty Finds New Soulmate | Main | Seattle Humane Rescues Southern California Dogs! »
John Curley hosts the first annual Tree Lighting at Pan Pacific Hotel Seattle featuring live entertainment, a doggie costume contest, holiday-themed pet portraits and holiday caroling with Figgy Pudding. All proceeds and donated goods from the event will benefit the animals in Seattle Humane Society's care. In addition, throughout December, Pan Pacific Seattle will donate the $50 pet cleaning charge to Seattle Humane.
Join in on the fun from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The MaxMobile, Seattle Humane's mobile adoption unit, will be in attendance from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. full of cats, dogs, and critters for on-the-spot adoptions. Zipcar will donate a pet carrier for every on-site adoption!
The event is free of charge and open to the public. Costume contest competitors are encouraged to come early to register their pet at 5:45 p.m. for a chance to win a doggy swag bag from Scraps Dog Bakery and boutique. Register for a FREE Denny Triangle Holiday Shopping Passport as part of the event for special offers and discounts on neighborhood shops and restaurants. Learn more at www.dennytriangle.org/holidays.
Bring a bag of dry pet food along and make a donation to Seattle Humane's Holiday Pet Food Drive to help feed more than 1,200 pets belonging to low-income and disabled community members. Dry cat food is our greatest need.
