World's Largest Ceviche

Friday December 12, 2008
Apparently a new Guinness World Record has been set in Lima, Peru, where chefs made a giant vat of the famous marinated seafood dish ceviche - 6.8 tons of it to be exact! Ceviche is made from raw fish that is "cooked" in lime juice, and mixed with onions and spicy aji peppers. You can read more, and see pictures of the stadium full of ceviche (which had to be consumed immediately afterwards) here.
