It is a little hard at the beginning to catch up with the character and country names, plus all this royalty people had kids in the hundreds, but it's worth it. I loved the intrigue, the intensity of the emotions in the characters and the history. Mostly, I loved Bidam and the internal battles he confronted in every episode!, After watching each one of these Korean dramas I really feel disappointed with the our TV shows (mostly reality shows). They seem so superficial and full of the same issues: know-it-all toddlers; teenagers defying parents; frustrated and angry women because their manicure got ruined; sexual preference; drugs; and such, just tiring and highly predictable! I wonder if our entertainment industry is aware of the discontent so many of us are posting?... they should look into the Asian industry and find out what is it that makes us want more and more of the Asian dramas!
