    The U.S. Supreme Court heard oral arguments this week challenging Arizona's employer sanctions law, which allows the state to revoke the business license of companies that hire undocumented workers.

    In the case, Chamber of Commerce versus Whiting, justices must determine if immigration policy is exclusively set by the federal government and secondly, if the state can make it a mandatory requirement for employers to participate in E- Verify, a federal Internet-based system designed to confirm new hires can work in the U.S., even though the system is voluntary under U.S. law.
