The Berkeley City Club, formerly known as the Berkeley Women's City Club, was organized by women in Berkeley, California in 1927, to contribute to social, civic, and cultural progress. It is no longer restricted to women, and is available to the public at large for weddings and other occasions.
The building, constructed in 1929, is one of the outstanding works of noted California architect Julia Morgan, whose interpretation of Moorish and Gothic elements created a landmark of California design. It is registered as California Historical Landmark[1] and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NPS-7700028).
