- It is astounding that when discussing the lack of revenue evidence, Feinberg and your interviewer didn't simply ask for the claimants federal tax returns. Whether the business deals were done w/o a receipt or based on a handshake - the business person was still required to file a federal tax return. Simply producing these returns would show past year's revenue and provide a starting point for establishing a claim amount. Unless of course the claimant had not filed a federal return - then that is fraud.

- I have a questions about these people wanting BP to pay them without proof of income. How do they file correct records with the IRS if they do not keep written records? I agree that these people should be compensated for their loss but I also agree with the lawyer who said he needs written proof of income.

- Feinberg should have brought the checkbook with him on the trip. All brought with him are more empty promises and false hopes. Feinberg sounds like a typical gas-bag lawyer, who never answers calls and who never actually does anything but make false promises to people, excusing himself for not having done a better job. This doesn't get those people in the Gulf paid.
