Marshawn Lynch, acquired in a mid-season trade with the Buffalo Bills, provided the knockout blow with this incredible 67-yard touchdown run late in the fourth quarter as he ran through, around and over any and all Saints defenders that attempted to get in his way.
Even quarterback Matt Hasselbeck was down field throwing blocks.
It's a combination of great effort on the part of Lynch, who finished the game with 131 yards on 19 carries, and poor tackling by the Saints.
The run gave Seattle a 41-30 lead. New Orleans would score a touchdown on its ensuing drive, but miss the two-point conversion and fail to recover the onside kick, never touching the football again. Seattle will travel to either Atlanta or Chicago next week.

What an amazing run...he just threw off tacklers all the way to the endzone!
Just proves how last year was a fluke for the Aints. Funny how they try to strip the ball and forget to make the tackle. Bad football. Who dat can't tackle?? hahhahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Sea Dat We Dat!
No such thing as a flute superbowl win everyone has there days and todays was the seahawks and a great day it was indeed.
Jay: It's fluke, not flute. It's their, not there. As is it is 'their' ball as opposed to the ball is over 'there'. Your lack of education is showing. Go get a GED. BTW Seahawks is a proper nounand should be capitalized.
I bet everybody who has ever played football, from first grade on up, has dreamned of making THAT very run.
Bet GBP wishes they would've picked him up now...
I saw three saints get blocked from behind. I always thought that was called clipping and a personal foul. Have the rules changed?
Maybe they should give that Dave Andrews guy a rulebook so he can watch all the football games and make calls to the NFL like he does with the PGA and change the outcome of the football games too.
I will agree...Lynch is awesome! He is a stud -- he should consider going to the Jets!
so bro it was a little early here thanks for being an ass
I have been listening to people for years talk about vegas odds, this is the first time I have ever thought maybe they are right. The last two guys were just strolling. They wern't even attempting to do anything. There is no F'ing way all those guys forgot how to tackle. Some guys were just falling down for no reason. I dont know. Not a saints fan but that looked suspect...
Saw 3 guys trying to tackle the ball not the runner. Going for those "look at me Mommie" moments can bite ya in the behind, fool. Wrap and drop him. Remember how to do that?
